Raymond Allen Davis Freed

Raymond Allan Davis was born October 2nd, 1974 and is now 36 years old. Raymond is a former United States Army soldier, private security intelligence employee, and contractor with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). He shot and killed two Pakistan men and was freed from jail in Lahore after relatives of the Pakistani victims received $2.3 million in “blood money” compensation. He claimed that he attacked in self - defense. Davis, a CIA security guard, was pardoned and flown to a U.S. facility in Kabul, where he was examined and questioned about his treatment before returning to the United States. Hillary Rodham Clinton the secretary of state expressed gratitude to the victims’ families in Pakistan and explained that the Justice Department has begun an investigation of the shooting and it led to Davis’s arrest in Lahore on January 27th. Rebecca Davis said she was elated when she learned of her husband's release in a phone call at 6:30 a.m. She said she doesn't know where the money paid to release her husband came from.
